What is Transformational Coaching?

Let’s take a brief look at traditional Life Coaching—the foundation from which many other coaching approaches have evolved. Traditional Life Coaching is a goal‑oriented process built on a collaborative partnership that helps you clarify what you want, generate your own solutions, goals, and pathways forward.

 

Transformational Coaching goes beyond the traditional goal setting approach. While goal‑setting is still part of the process, Transformational Coaching takes a more holistic and expansive approach. It goes beyond achieving traditional goals or milestones and invites you into a deeper relationship with yourself. This work helps you uncover what’s beneath the surface, identify the root causes of recurring patterns or believe systems, and reconnect with who you truly are—your authentic self.

As your coach, I will serve as a quiet, steady, and intuitive guide as you find your way back to your authentic self. I draw on grounded coaching skills—such as asking powerful, insightful questions—alongside spiritually aligned practices that support deeper inner work. As a certified Life and Spiritual Coach, I incorporate guided exercises and practices that help you tune into your body and energy so transformation can unfold from within.

 

Simply put, Transformational Coaching focuses on a new way of being—one that aligns with your purpose, values, and overall well‑being, allowing you to move through life with clarity, confidence, and deeper self‑trust.

What to Expect from Transformational Coaching Sessions

Whichever coaching package you select (more information below), your sessions will follow a steady, supportive structure. The first and second sessions are intentionally different, as they set the groundwork for everything that follows.

        Session No. 1: Discovery Session (1-1.5 hours)

Your first session is a deep‑dive into the areas of your life you are wanting to explore, shift, or strengthen. Before we meet, and to help you reflect, I will send you self‑assessment forms and questionnaires tailored to the themes you identified during our introductory call (see below).  Then during our session, we will use them to explore your current experiences, the outcomes you desire, and any obstacles that may have come in your way in the past. Afterward, I will provide a written summary of your key topics.

       Session No. 2: SMART Goal Setting (1 hour)

Typically, we move into this work during our second session, though we can revisit it later if that feels more aligned. Together, we translate the insights from your Discovery Session into clear, meaningful, and achievable goals. Using the SMART framework (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant/Realistic, and Time‑bound), we shape intentions that align with your values, your capacity, and the deeper shifts you’re seeking to create. SMART goals simply clarify who or where you want to be by the end of our coaching agreement—or within any timeframe that feels right for you.


Depending on how many topics emerged during your Discovery Session, this process may take less than the full hour. When that happens, many clients choose to dive into a topic of their choice and begin coaching right away.

Session No. 3 and Beyond: Coaching Sessions (1 hour)

From this point forward, each session focuses on a coaching topic of your choice. You may choose to work with one of the themes identified in your Discovery Session, or you can bring in anything currently unfolding in your life that you would like support with—whether you are seeking insight, clarity, direction, or a deeper understanding of what’s beneath the surface.

People often seek transformational coaching when their body, mind, and soul start speaking more loudly—through ongoing stress, overwhelm, anxiety, or the quiet onset of burnout. These inner messages can also surface physically, in the form of low energy, tightness in the body, headaches, restless sleep, or a feeling of being disconnected from oneself.

Session Details

  • Duration: All coaching sessions are 1 hour, except for the Discovery Session, which is between 1 to 1.5 hours

  • Format: All sessions take place online via Zoom 

  • Coaching Packages: I offer three coaching packages, and together we’ll choose the one that best supports where you are.

1. Intro Call & Package Selection

Your journey begins with a free 30-minute intro call to connect, explore your goals, and determine whether coaching feels like a right fit. If we move forward, we’ll select the coaching package that best supports your needs.

 

2. Coaching Agreement

Once your package is selected, I’ll send a simple coaching agreement for your review and signature. It outlines our shared commitments and helps create a clear, supportive container for our work together.

 

3. Payment & Getting Started 

Full payment is due upfront to secure your coaching package. Payment is handled easily and securely via Venmo. You’re welcome to schedule sessions in advance; coaching officially begins once both the agreement and payment are complete.​
